![]() ![]() ![]() That concludes my thoughts on this mouse. Personally I donot like the grip style it is aimed towards but I bought this because I didnt have a mouse at the time of purchase.Īs a beginner gamer it is a decent mouse to start with but I would highly recommend going for something like Glorious Model series or Razer Viper series or Logitech series for a budget experience. The scroll is wheel is not perfect but is decent and may become sturdy overtime, not a big issue. But after that, there's usual gradual increase in DPi like in most mouse. In the Indicator Colors window, select a color to. You can also click Set as Default to set that DPI stage as the default. Click the menu button next to a DPI stage you want to use and select Activate. Use the options in the DPI Stages window to set the X DPI and Y DPI of your mouse. This was a big hit at the start for me but I easily got used to it: There are no 400 or 800 DPi, atleast I couldn't find in the iCUE software. Click the + button in the DPI Presets window. Also, the cables dont come out of the centre rather the are angled, and come out of the left side, something to keep in mind. The stock cable of the this unit a bit heavy and sturdy(like in generic mouses) so you might feel drag while using the mouse(if u are a arm aimer, wrist aimers wont be as effected). It is a small mice in comparison with the majority so if u have a medium hand and grip your mouse in a such a way that the ring finger reaches the top of the mouse, a small portion sticks out and is a lot irritating. If u have a palm grip it might work for you. But the problem here is that the grip itself isn't much secure and can slip off from time to time when lifting the mice. This mouse has an ergonomic design with rubber grips on the sides for almost comfy hold. My experience of using this mouse is very different to what I expected it to be when I bought this mouse. +uses iCUE software, which is pretty used friendly, elaborate and customisable. This is the cheapest among the corsair lineup and offers performance for what it is. I have used this for over 3 months and this is my own opinion and nothing else. I'm hear to share my opinions on Corsair Gaming Harpoon. Recommendable for casual gamers and is very good for fps games for the 1.5-2k budget, it's not perfect but it's good enough RGB profiles are only saved on the app and not on the onboard memoryĭpi settings can be customised from the app The sensor and feet are very good, it glides well and is accurate enough for an fps gameĭpi switch doesn't really get in the way for me atleast The other two buttons are well positioned too Positioning of the cable isn't the best and can get in the way, would have been great if it was braided or atleast detachable, middle mouse button(scroll wheel) is nice feeling and clicky, but might accidentally click if u put too much force when u scroll while playing a game or something The buttons are good and tactile, however I noticed a few double clicks when I used my mouse after leaving my pc in sleep mode but it didn't double click otherwise which is wierd It was fine for me as I have a large palm but short fingers, it will be uncomfortable for people with long fingers Its a good but smaller mouse which favours a claw grip, plam grip users stay away
